Inspired by Killarney National Park in County Kerry, this fully lined hat is woven from 100% Irish wool tweed in rich pink and red with blue and yellow windowpane accents that is evocative of the park’s colorful springtime flowers in bloom. The retro style of the hat is modeled after newsboy hats of the 1920s and 1930s, updated with a leather rosette at the side and a short brim for a modern and feminine look. The cap itself is constructed from eight symmetrical panels with a button top to give it a classic feel. And the cap features an elasticated back for a perfect one-size-fits-all fit, measuring approximately 20 in. without stretching.

Mucros Weavers is based at Muckross House, County Kerry, amid the luscious scenery and abundant nature of Killarney National Park. For over 30 years, Mucros has provided some of Ireland’s finest woven goods from its traditional craft workshop under the stewardship of master weaver John Cahill. Each piece is inspired by the magnificent colors and rich textures of the national park and its environs, adding a bit of Irish craft and style to any outfit.
